QUINNESEC, Mich. -On 8/13/2026, at approximately 10:56am, Breitung Township Fire Department was dispatched to Quinnesec Avenue in Quinnesec, for a reported structure fire.
The call stated that the structure was fully involved, with no occupants inside. Residents in the area stated that they heard a boom when it started.
From a post released on Facebook, they stated that there were no injuries.
Responding agencies include but are not limited to: Breitung Township Volunteer Fire Department, Iron Mountain Fire Department, Norway Fire Department, Integrity Care EMS, Michigan State Police, Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, and DTE Energy.
