
IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. – Earlier today, multiple law enforcement agencies responded to a standoff at White Birch Village in Dickinson County.
Responding agencies included the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, Iron Mountain Police Department, Michigan State Police, Kingsford Public Safety, and Integrity Care EMS. Specialized units were also deployed, including the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office Drone Unit, K9 Unit, and CIRT (Critical Incident Response Team).
During the incident, law enforcement deployed two flashbangs. One suspect was taken into custody. No injuries have been confirmed at this time.
Authorities maintained a secure perimeter throughout the response. Once the suspect was taken into custody, units cleared the scene and departed from the area.
